Organic white basmati rice has a wonderful taste and aroma. Excellent in stews, curries, plov, as a garnish. Also delicious on their own: with vegan butter or oil.
Preparation: wash 1 part rice in cold water, cover with 2 parts water and bring slowly to the boil. Once boiling, cover the pot and simmer for 15 min. Remove from the heat and allow the rice to swell for 5 min.
