Use
Flaxseed should be taken ground with plenty of liquid (water, juice).
However, if whole flaxseeds are to be used, it is recommended to warm them in warm water before use. The benefits of flaxseed are enhanced and revealed if you use flaxseed mixed with honey or jam.
!It is important to stress that linseed oil is not suitable for frying, as it not only loses nutrients when heated, but also releases trans-fatty acids that are harmful to the body at high temperatures.
Grind flaxseeds and use them in porridge, yoghurt, kefir, healthy green smoothies and cottage cheese. They can also be added to salads, sauces, stews or just before eating soup. Add the flaxseeds to the salad. It is important not to overcook flaxseeds, as this will lose all their good qualities, so they are best added at the end of the cooking process or just before serving. Ground flaxseed can be stored in an airtight container for up to six months and will not lose its nutritional properties.
