Description
Chun Mee green tea has a fresh, slightly sour taste with a slight smoky aftertaste. When brewed, the tea is light in colour. It is a popular variety originating in China. The name ‘Chun Mee’ means ‘eyebrow shape’ in Chinese, referring to the characteristic shape of the tea buds, which are small, narrow and slightly thick, resembling groomed eyebrows.
Preparation
Brew the tea with about 80 °C hot water, per teaspoon (200 ml) and allow to infuse for 1-2 minutes for a mild flavour and 2-4 minutes for a stronger flavour.
