Organic Bolivian red balanda (quinoa) is suitable for both hot and cold dishes. Can be used for salads, soups, stews. It is delicious eaten as a hot porridge – spiced or sweetened with milk (coconut, soya or almond), nuts or fruit. Suitable for vegans.
High in fibre. An excellent source of protein with a balanced set of amino acids essential for humans.
Preparation: be sure to wash the groats in cold water before cooking. Boil for 15 minutes, water ratio 1:2.
