Can I put a glass dinnerware in the microwave?
Yes, the glass dinnerware, silicone lid and wood fibre base can be heated in the microwave. The stainless steel cap cannot be heated in the microwave. The silicone lid has a small insert that can be inserted into the side of the glass container to prevent a vacuum from forming when heating the container. The food should be heated for no more than 2 minutes, stirring and repeating as necessary.
Can I put the glass container in the oven?
The stainless steel lid and wood fibre base are NOT oven-safe, but the glass bowl (separately) and silicone lid are oven-safe. Do not allow the cookware to come into direct contact with the flame and do not use it with the grill. Glass can break if the temperature changes suddenly, so make sure it is at room temperature before putting it in the oven (i.e. do not move it directly from the fridge or freezer to a preheated oven) and DO NOT put it under cold water or on a cold surface directly from the oven.
Can I put my glass dinnerware in the dishwasher?
Yes, all parts of this product are dishwasher safe. However, we recommend using the top shelf if possible. Wait carefully for the glass container to cool down after the cycle and do not place it directly on a cold surface as it may break due to thermal shock.
Can I put a glass lunch container in the freezer?
All parts of the glass lunch container can be put in the freezer, but make sure the food is completely defrosted before reheating and never use the microwave or oven to defrost food. In addition, the liquid expands by about 9% during freezing, so you need to make sure there is enough space in the lunch container before freezing and that it is not full.
Is the glass lunch container BPA and BPS free?
Yes, it does not.
Is there anything I can do to make the stainless steel lid easier to open?
Sometimes, after several uses, the lid may become hard and difficult to open. Simply wipe the inside with vegetable oil and wipe dry to make the lid easier to open. Never close the stainless steel lid on the wood-fibre base without first making sure that the glass lunch bowl and silicone lid are also inside.
