BioBags are 100% biodegradable and compostable.
They are made of an innovative Mater-Bi material, the main ingredient of which is potato starch. The bags are suitable for small kitchen containers and compost bins. They can be used to store and separate fresh food in the fridge, to carry food such as breakfast to work or on picnics, to weigh vegetables and fruit when shopping – as an alternative to conventional plastic bags. Suitable for: organic and mixed waste, for use in home and municipal composting systems.
Advantages: durable and aesthetic, environmentally friendly: fully biodegradable and compostable (according to European standard EN-13432).
Its ability to decompose under composting conditions has been certified by OK Compost Vincotte and Seedling DIN CERTCO.
